A focused tool.
Clear boundaries.
Practical conditions and limits for acquiring and using FramePulse.
Owner legal approval is required before public deployment. This page is use information, not legally certified terms or a substitute for formal owner-approved legal terms.
Acquisition and communications
The current Get FramePulse journey links to an external Gumroad product page. Acquisition, delivery and any transaction are subject to the terms and policies presented there. This website does not require the earlier local name-and-email registration form.
Earlier private registration records are retained for delivery and operational records; they have not been deleted by this change. Download or order contact information does not automatically authorize marketing. Separate optional marketing consent and existing unsubscribe preferences must be respected. See Privacy for the distinct data flows.
Requirements and safe setup
The verified native package is for Windows 10/11 x64 and DaVinci Resolve Studio with Workflow Integration support and your local SDK module. Setup needs administrator approval, but not a separate Node.js installation. Browser viewing on other devices does not establish native macOS, iOS or Android application availability.
The current Windows setup is unsigned. Install only after verifying the official source and deciding that you trust it. Follow the installation guide. Close FramePulse before an update, and never close or restart Resolve while it is rendering. FramePulse does not install updates silently.
You are responsible for using your own properly licensed Resolve Studio installation and SDK in accordance with Blackmagic Design’s terms. This page does not grant SDK rights or assert that a legal license review has been completed.
Read-only monitoring
FramePulse does not start, pause, resume or cancel Resolve renders. It does not transfer footage or finished output files. Use Resolve’s own controls to manage exports and verify completed files before delivery.
Viewers open a monitor URL in a browser without an account. Completion sound depends on browser audio permissions and a user gesture; do not rely on it as the only completion check.
Progress and timing limits
Resolve’s API-exposed values can lag its own interface. Frequent sampling does not force native values to refresh, and no fixed ten-second cadence is promised. FramePulse estimates between received anchors and reconciles fresh readings; fast exports, startup and changes in render speed can cause meaningful differences.
Only explicit native completion permits 100%. Resolve’s native ETA for the current job takes priority when available; otherwise an estimate is labelled. Output FPS is the video frame rate, not render speed. Tracked render time is not total wall-clock time. Offline viewers freeze the last snapshot rather than estimating forward.
Responsible sharing and expiry
Create and share links only when you are authorized to disclose project and timeline names, approved render settings and render status. Anyone possessing a viewer URL can read it or forward it. Public viewers do not receive private writer keys, local output paths or media files.
Desktop links and publisher credentials last only for the current FramePulse process. Closing FramePulse clears them and disconnects updates; reopening starts empty. Cloud snapshots expire seven days after creation, without extension for activity. Stopping tracking or removing a link does not cancel a render or immediately revoke the last cloud snapshot.
Live monitoring depends on the plugin remaining open, network access and service availability. No uninterrupted availability, unlimited capacity or permanent access is guaranteed.
Independent software and contact
Dream Road Labs is the software and tools brand of Dream Road Pictures. FramePulse is not developed, sponsored or endorsed by Blackmagic Design. DaVinci Resolve and its Workflow Integration SDK belong to their respective owner.
